To respond to Charlies post, we offer skill instruction in Kayak
Touring, River Kayaking and River Canoeing. Our beginner classes are 6 -
7 hours and all start on flatwater. Our EZ WW Kayak and Canoe are one or
two day clinics and stay local on the GW from Violetts and Potomac from
Anglers and Algonkian as well as Columbia Island. We have a couple
Intermediate classes at Bloomington and the L Yough and do mostly class
2 trips on the Pot Gorge and Shenandoah.
I am an ( ACA ITE)Instructor Trainer Educator in River Kayak, Canoe and
Coastal Kayak, we do 9 or 10 Instructor Certifications in all those
disciplines each year and Trip Leading Assessments.ITE, ITE's can
develop Trainers.
We do an annual Middle Fork Salmon trip July 30 to Aug 4 every year, I
am a licensed MF Salmon guide.

area is fortunate to have many really good Professional and Club
Instructors at many different levels, with many different styles. I feel
